A Range Of Treatment Options
Benign fat tumors (lipomas) occur frequently and are in most cases easily differentiated from malignant soft tissue tumors. Nevertheless – often they can be bothersome. In these cases we recommend early resection.
Depending on localization and size, we can remove lipomas via a small incision or by liposuction. Suspicious soft tissue tumors are referred for further diagnostics by either sonography or – if necessary – MRI (magnetic resonance imaging).
If histological evaluation or operative resection is necessary, we will work together with you to develop a treatment plan including safe diagnostics, surgical therapy and follow-up. In this context we work interdisciplinarily, meaning in cooperation with colleagues from various specialties to provide you the most comprehensive treatment.
Together we are strong!
